Plant Cell Cultivation
BioActives
Bioactives are compounds in plants that can significantly impact health and disease prevention. Many bioactive molecules are still undiscovered, offering great potential for improving human wellness. Ongoing research is exploring how plant-based bioactives can support health and be used in everyday products.
How Plant Cell Cultivation Works
Specializes in producing sustainable bioactives, ensuring a reliable and contaminant-free supply chain of high-quality nutraceuticals.
Dependable
Plant cell technology allows for precise control of growth conditions, guaranteeing a consistent bioactive composition on a large scale
Long-lasting
Advanced biotechnology is used to overcome the limitations of traditional agriculture, providing a more sustainable and eco-friendly solution
Uncontaminated
Biotechnology removes the risk of product contamination from heavy metals, pesticides, and other soil pollutants, ensuring a safer, cleaner end product that meets high-quality standards for bioactive ingredient
The Process of PCC
Plant cells are cultivated in stainless steel tanks to produce bioactive ingredients with consistent potency or improved effectiveness
Step One
Begins by sourcing and cultivating authenticated plants in a controlled lab setting, where we carefully sample plant tissue for analysis
Step Two
Different parts of the plants are sampled—such as flowers, roots, and leaves—to identify the best cell lines for producing the desired bioactives
Step Three
The plant tissue is treated with a specialized blend of micronutrients, tailored to each plant species, to induce callus formation. This callus is transferred to liquid media, both solid and liquid growth environments are screened to evaluate growth and metabolite production, ensuring the highest bioactive yield
Step Four
Using cutting-edge technologies like high-throughput multi-omics, the most efficient cell lines for bioactive production are identified. Once the optimal cell line is determined, it is locked it in for further refinement and optimization
Step Five & Six
After product screening, the bioprocess is refined and production is scaled up in a controlled bioreactor to optimize cell growth and bioactive output. The cells are then harvested, and bioactive compounds are extracted or isolated based on customer specifications.
